What Does A Paralegal Do?

I would like to congratulate you for looking into the answer of what do paralegals do? Most people really don’t know.

MY Paralegal, only handles non contested matters. I can help you prepare and submit documents for most any non contested legal matters.

What does non contested mean? It means that no one is taking you to court, you are simply looking to empliment the legal paper work to have one of the issues below taken care of:

Step Parents Adoption;

Legal Guardianship;

Legal Separation;

Promissory Note;

Name Change;

Last Will And Testament;

Living Trust;

Durable Power of Attorney;

Small Claims Court;

Conflict Resolution;

Roommate Rental Agreements; and

Criminal Records.

I can do these for you and most often without you having to appear in court. Not all the time, but again, most often.  I do this kind of work for three types of people.

1. Attorneys: More Attorneys then ever are hiring freelance paralegals like myself to save money on their over head.

2. The well to do, AKA rich folks, they know how to make every dime count. Why should they pay an Attorney 400- 500 an hour when they can hire me for a lot less, and save some money on non contested matters? It goes without saying, they know What a paralegal does.

3. The average Joe like you and I, who make to much to get any legal aid, but yet really can’t afford an Attorney.

So, bottom line if your one of the folks above and need a experienced paralegal you will find my contact info below.

I do not handle anything concerning criminal matters. I don’t care what it is, if your in criminal court you need an Attorney period end of story.  A Paralegal can handle criminal case for an attorney only when that paralegal is employed by that attorney.

If you need an attorney and can’t afford one please go to your Yellow Pages on line and look up Legal Aid for your State. Talk to them, they should be able to tell you if your going to qualify for the program. However, if your working I would say your most likely not going to be able to get qualified.

These agencies only have so much money to spend, and do to the nature of our economy right now your chances are not good.

I have worked as a paralegal for the past 15 years. Not only do I have a specialized degree from Las Vegas College, I have received years of hands on training by working at various law firms, give me a call, or email.

Thank You for Visiting The ParalegalFirm.net, please put me in your favorites for easy return.
